The quote you shared about letting yourself rest is a beautiful reminder that it's okay to take a step back and embrace the beauty of the present moment. It's heartwarming to see your dedication and love for your granddaughters shine through, even in the midst of a cold. I couldn't help but smile at the descriptions of the girls' contrasting personalities and your efforts to conquer potty training amidst the hurdles.

Thank you as always for reading my post Winston, for creating the community at Coffee Times, and for your kind, thoughtful comments. Every day here is a new adventure with toddlers, but one I wouldn't miss for anything! I will be grateful when potty training is a distant memory. Have a wonderful, restful weekend.

Greetings, from Viam’s chat. Nice to meet you, Pamela! I enjoyed reading this little glimpse into your life spent with your littles. I related to this so much. Planning lots and needing to go with the flow no matter what the kiddos throw at you. It’s funny how much kids can shift their energy from day to day (mine are 6 & 9). But all bets are off when someone gets sick and inevitably we do too! Sounds like your grandkids will have such fond memories of their time with you. I felt warm reading this. Hope you feel better fast!

Oh, I was right there with you, Pamela! I am not good at being sick either, and not good if I can't work on my to-do-lists! How lovely to be such a part of your granddaughters' lives!
