Apparently more was needed than crossed fingers..

That's so true, Lizzie. It has been a very emotional week for almost half the US voters. It was not at all what we expected, still processing it. Thanks for circling back. https://open.substack.com/pub/nxt50years/p/i-needed-a-little-christmas-this?r=2mqz2b&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Good for you! But I am shocked by the ‘discount’ price - in Britain it’s about £150.00 per month - unless there’s a typo, that’s a tenth of the price! Good luck with it!!

Wow. That is amazing that the price for Monjarno is so much different in Britain than in the U S. No, not a typo. The discount price through Lifeforce is $550 a month and if I received it through my PCP (because I'm not a diabetic) it's $1200 a month. I truly hope the price becomes lower because I do think this drug would help a lot of people. A lot is riding on our upcoming election. 🙏 Thank you so much for your encouragement and for reading. 🤗

I did just read that in Britain there have been quite a few hospitalisations (200) for people using these drugs. Am not sure that I would risk using them unless my life and health were at serious risk from my weight.

I appreciate your concern Lizzie. I have blood work done every 3 months and my doctor highly recommended Mounjarno (vs Ozempic) along with working with Lifeforce doctors as I said in my post. My cholesterol & A1c are high & this has been proven to greatly reduce that. No side effects so far. First week and I lost a pound. 🎉

That’s great to know! What is A1c?

Expand full comment

A1C levels indicate the percentage of hemoglobin that's coated with glucose, and are used to diagnose diabetes and prediabetes:

Normal: A1C below 5.7%

Prediabetes: A1C between 5.7% and 6.4%

Diabetes: A1C of 6.5% or higher

I'm pre-diabetic currently.

I am so appalled at the profiteering that goes on in American medicine. The world is crossing its fingers for your election!
